Fire Alarm

Fire Alarms are fitted within East Ham Depot Offices and Shed.

The Alarm within office areas is a single tone.

The alarm inside the Shed is a two tone drone with a voice alert that states "Fire, Fire, Please Leave The Building".

Fire Assembley Point

The Fire Assembley Point is located in the carpark adjacent to the water tower.

You must report here if you hear the fire alarm.

Call Points

Call points are around the buildings and Shed.

If you discover a fire you must raise the alarm by breaking the glass window on a call point.

Fire Fighting Equipment

You may only use Fire Fighting Equipment if you have been trained to do so. They are located around the depot in various forms such as Water, Foam, AFFF and CO2 (Carbon Dioxide).

Do not use Foam or Water based extingishers on electrical equipment especially High Voltage Overhead Line Equipment.
